YEREVAN. - The permit on the power import of the “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC (ENA) from Georgia has been extended. The corresponding decree was adopted at the session of the Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission.

Armenia imports power from Georgia sporadically with the aim of covering the short-term gaps in local power system. Over three quarters of 2015, Armenia has imported from Georgia 70,8 million kWh power or 1.8 percent of the entire realization of the ENA.
