YEREVAN. - The newly-appointed Ambassador of the Netherlands to Armenia Johannes Douma  (residency in Tbilisi) today handed copies of his credentials to Armenia’s Deputy FM Sergey Manaseryan.

Congratulating the Ambassador, the Deputy FM expressed hope that the diplomat will contribute to the development of ties between the two countries through his experience and knowledge, Armenian MFA press-service reports.

The Ambassador assured that he is going to take effective measures for expanding the cooperation in all the spheres.

The sides underscored the importance of activating the political dialogue, development of economic relations, as well as cooperation in the framework of international organizations.

Ideas were exchanged on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as a number of international and regional issues.
