YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 485.79 $1 in Armenia on Friday, a 0.45 point fall as compared to yesterday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 530.55 (down by AMD 1.66), that of one British pound was AMD 733.83 (down by AMD 2.81), the rate of one Russian ruble comprising AMD 6.96 (down by AMD 0.05), according to the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 220,86, AMD 16,692,99, and AMD 13.357,51, respectively.

Sale and purchase transactions in the amount of 2 mln 930,000 AMD by average weighted exchange rate of 482,75 AMD $1 were registered  at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange Thursday. The rate constituted 482,75 AMD at the closing.

No foreign currency transactions were registered at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Friday.
