YEREVAN. - Consultations on boosting export of local production continued in the Armenia government today. The discussion, led by Armenia’s PM Hovik Abrahamyan, was attended by the representatives of the responsible state agencies.  

At the consultation, specifically possibilities of increasing the export volume of Armenian production to Russia given Russia’s embargo of the Turkish goods, as well as state support mechanisms were discussed.  In this context, reference was made to the implementation process of the instructions given by the PM as a result of the consultation with the PM on November 30. During the exchange of ideas, the representatives of the relevant authorities made a number of proposals.

Stressing the urgency of the matter and attaching importance to the operative feedback on the emerged situation, the PM instructed the discussion participants to conclude the interagency discussions and submit the final results to the Armenian government during the coming week.
