STEPANAKERT. – The adversary breached the truce along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 1,400 times, from December 6 to 12.

During this time Azerbaijan fired over 15,000 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, mortars, grenade launchers, reactive rocket propelled howitzers and anti-aircraft autocannons, reported the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army.

And on Tuesday, Azerbaijan used a tank, for the first time ever since the signing of the ceasefire agreement, to shell the military footholds of the NKR Defense Army.

But vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army took retaliatory actions to suppress the adversary’s aggressive “activeness,” and destroyed the Azerbaijan Armed Forces’ several important facilities located near the frontline.
