YEREVAN. - The new Ambassador of Korea to Armenia Park Ro-byug (residence in Moscow) today extended the copies of his credentials to Armenia's FM Edward Nalbandian.

Welcoming the guest, the FM wished him success and expressed hope that the Ambassador will make an important contribution to the development of ties between the countries, Armenian MFA press-service reports.

For his part, the Ambassador assured that he will do his best to enhance and deepen the relations between the countries.

Nalbandian highly appreciated the dynamically developing relations between the countries.

The sides also touched on a wide scope of issues on politics, economics, education and cultural cooperation, as well as expansion of the legal framework.

The significance of the activity of the parliamentary friendship group between the countries was mentioned.

Ambassador Park Ro-byug presented the steps aimed at establishing peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

Nalbandian briefed the Ambassador on the efforts of Armenia and OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs aimed at the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
