The remainder of the unpaid salaries of the employees at the Vanadzor Khimprom CJSC of Armenia are being paid on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the respective amount is completely transferred, and the payment of these overdue wages is expected to be completed by the end of the day.

Upon the President’s instructions, the Ministry, together with the company management, had begun as early as two months ago to take measures to pay off the outstanding salary debts of the employees of this enterprise.

Overall, about 340 million drams (approx. US$702,160) will be paid for the wage arrears that have accumulated over the past eleven months.
