YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 483.66 $1 in Armenia on Wednesday, a 0.32 point fall as compared to yesterday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 528.30 (down by AMD 5.48), that of one British pound was AMD 725.97 (down by AMD 7.84), the rate of one Russian ruble comprising AMD 6.89 (up by AMD 0.04), according to the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 213.66, AMD 16,506,36, and AMD 13.248.62, respectively.

Sale and purchase transactions in the amount of 50,000 AMD by average weighted exchange rate of 483 AMD $1 were registered at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange Wednesday. The closing rate constituted 482,75 AMD.
