YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan today sent a congratulatory message on occasion of the National Security Service Worker’s Day, Armenian President press-service reports.

In the congratulatory message, the President said that the National Security Authorities of Armenia have passed a well deserved path of development. “In our contemporary history you made a significant contribution in the enhancement of the grounds of Armenian statehood. Especially in the face of the modern challenges, when the insurance of peaceful and secure development of the state and community has become more complicated, you are always distinguished by a great sense of responsibility and commitment.

The task of ensuring security is unprecedentedly pressing in the contemporary world. We witness adventurist actions even in countries with developed security services and law enforcement authorities. In this new situation, our super-objective is not to allow such tragic events and incident to take place in our country. Armenia shouldn’t lose its reputation of one of the most secure countries in the world. Our citizens, as well as foreigners visiting our country, must feel safe here,” the President noted.
