YEREVAN. - The Defense Ministry of Armenia strongly condemns the subsequent infiltration attempt by the Azerbaijani side on the eve of the meeting of Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan.  The infiltration attempt by Azerbaijan is an expression of disrespect to the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.

Clearly realizing that the given actions won’t remain unpunished, the Azerbaijani leadership once again escalates the situation.

The Defense Ministry of Armenia expresses its deepest condolences to the relatives and friends of the killed soldiers and shares their bereavement. 

As reported earlier, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army Privates Aghasi Grigoryan (born in 1996) and Ruben Aleksanyan (born in 1996) were killed in the early morning hours on Friday, in the defensive battles during the sabotage and intelligence-gathering infiltration attempt by the adversary. 

The Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case into Azerbaijan’s killing of these two Armenian soldiers.
