YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan resident Edgar Petrosyan, 29, has been charged with threatening with a knife and deliberately hitting Turkish citizen Halil İç with his car.

The investigation revealed that Petrosyan, while transporting İç yet again with his vehicle, had gotten into an argument with him over money matters, during which he had taken out a knife and threatened to kill the Turkish citizen, and this had scared the latter.

Halil İç, however, had managed to snatch the knife, get out of the car, and run away.

But Edgar Petrosyan, in an attempt to prevent İç from running away, had pursued him with his vehicle, intentionally ran over him, and caused severe damage to health

Criminal charges have been brought against Petrosyan.

A signature bond on not leaving Armenia has been enforced as his restraining order

The case is being heard in court.
