MOSCOW. – Function of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was discussed, and the steps to strengthen the organization were noted at the narrow-format meeting of the CSTO Council Board.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said the aforementioned at the extended-format session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent informed from Moscow, where the event is held.
Putin added that the meeting is still in progress under chairmanship of the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan.
In the Russian leader’s words, during the extended-format meeting, the discussants will exchange views on the present-day situation in the world and international everyday challenges.
“We have discussed the key issues in detail,” Vladimir Putin added. “The President of Armenia will present our common vision for the situation.”
