MOSCOW. - At the CSTO Collective Security Council session two decisions - on the Secretary General and rotation of the officials of the permanent CSTO authorities - were adopted. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said the aforementioned after the CSTO Collective Security Council session, as reported by Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.
In Sargsyan’s words, a decision on extending the term of office of the current Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha till 1 January 2017 was adopted unanimously at the session. The President also noted that the rotation principle will be applied in the CSTO Secretariat. “Nikolay Bordyuzha successfully manages the secretariat and knows well the legal framework of the organization, which is important for the successful implementation of the given task,” he said.
