YEREVAN. - Parliament of Armenia has ratified the Agreement on Scientific Support from Russia’s Slavonic University with 86 MP votes for the ratification, 2 being against it. 

Under the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental agreement signed on 14 May 2015 in Yerevan, the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University will get access to the assignations from Russia’s State Budget for scientific projects, including infrastructures, laboratories, etc. According to Armenia’s Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan, the Russian side expressed goodwill and allocated the budgetary funds before the ratification of the agreement.
