YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yerevan State University (YSU), on Wednesday participated in the Board meeting.  

The Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the discussants conferred on and approved the YSU Rector’s report on the main activities which the university conducted in the 2014/15 academic year.

In addition several other matters, the participants also discussed and reached a decision to establish a Student Services Ltd. and to adopt the company statute. 

Before the Board meeting, however, President Sargsyan got familiarized with the books which the YSU publishing house has published in the past two years, and on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of this publishing house, as well as with the works published in connection with the Armenian Genocide Centennial.
