YEREVAN. - Representatives of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), on behalf of Levon Zurabyan and Vladimir Karapatyan, today met with the diplomats of the EU Delegation, Embassies of France, Germany, UK, Greece and Romania.  

Levon Zurabyan briefed the diplomats on the process and results of the constitutional referendum held on December 6, calling it rigged and contradicting the will of the people. During the meeting, issues on the vote recount, process of appealing the voting results and filing a claim with the Constitutional Court were discussed.

Now the ANC is going to file criminal charges on 100 electoral process with the court.

The sides also noted the necessity of further measures aimed at democratization, including adoption of a new Electoral Code and increase of citizens’ trust to electoral processes. The sides agreed to continue their working visits.
