YEREVAN. – In the current year, Armenia increased its fresh fruit and vegetables’ export by 66 percent, making it reach up to 76 thousand tons.

The Minister of Agriculture, Sergo Karapetyan, said the aforementioned at Monday’s year-end press conference.

Moreover, as per the minister, these exports continue even in the winter months.

Karapetyan noted that most of these exports go to the Eurasian Union.

In particular, Russia accounts for 84 percent of these exports, whereas in 2014, this indicator was a mere 46 percent.
