Senate of Michigan has approved the bill that requires Michigan children to learn about the Holocaust and the Armenian Genocide.

The bill from Republican state Rep. Klint Kesto would have Gov. Rick Snyder set up a 15 member genocide education panel, AP reported.

Earlier the House approved legislation that would make the Holocaust and the 1915 Armenian Genocide required subjects for students between 8th and 12th grade, wlns.com reported.
