The Armenians and Zazas have much in common, representative of the Zazas, Mesut Keskin, who lives in Berlin, stated in the framework of the conference entitled “The Zaza people and the Anatolian alevi phenomenon” held in Yerevan.
In his words, the only difference between the Armenians and Zaza is their religion. “The Armenians and Zaza lived together for many thousands of years. Like Armenians, we have many words borrowed from Parthian, as well as Armenian,” Keskin noted. From the cultural viewpoint, both peoples have many similarities.
Mesut Keskin has visited Armenia for already the fourth time.
