The Ukrainian General Prosecutor's Office arrested the former Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexander Sukhomlin, announced Minister Yuriy Lutsenko.

According to 112 Ukraine, Nykolay Azarov took the post of Sukhomlin.

According to Lutsenko, Sukhomlinin, in 2010-2014 being the head of the auction committee that sells oil, gas condensate, liquefied gas, and coal, illegally possessed the ownership of the companies Ukrgazdobicha and Ukrnavt, more than 50% of which belongs to the state, especially gas produced by companies, totaling more than 2 billion hryvnia.
