The French police applied tear gas to disperse violent demonstrators who were protesting against labor reforms in Paris, six people have been detained, RIA Novosti reported quoting France Bleu.

The incidents occurred near Denfert-Rochereau and on Port-Royal Boulevard. Hundreds of hooligans began throwing stones at the police. As a result of clashes, the police managed to arrest six people.

The national protest action against labor reform takes place on Tuesday after the call of the seven labor unions (CGT, FSU, FO, Solidaires, Unef, UNL, Fidl).

Massive strikes and actions against labor reform took place in France in the last three months. The draft was carried out on May 10 through the lower house of parliament.

The liberalization of the labor legislation offered by Manuel Valls should promote creation of workplaces in France, however the bill contains a number of extremely unpopular measures allowing to increase duration of the working day at the enterprises and simplify procedure of dismissal of workers.

The leadership of France, understanding that it will not be possible to adopt the law on reform of the labor legislation in the traditional way, resorted to 49.3 article of the Constitution, according to which the Prime Minister being sure of the need of adoption of law, carries out the document through parliament without debate and vote.
