YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent congratulatory messages to Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom (UK), on the occasion of the UK national holiday, the Queen’s Official Birthday.

In his message addressed to Queen Elizabeth, the President congratulated and extended good wishes to her, the British royal family, and the friendly British people, on this national day.

And in his congratulatory message to Prime Minister Cameron, Sargsyan expressed a conviction that Armenian-British relations will grow deeper with joint efforts, and in the interests of the two peoples.

Also on the occasion of the UK national holiday, Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday visited the residence of the UK ambassador to Armenia. He congratulated Ambassador Judith Farnworth and the embassy staff, and wished wellbeing and further prosperity to the British people.
