Three people were killed in a crash of light aircraft near the town of Esperance in the U.S. state of New York,  RIA Novosti reported quoting AP.

The plane with four people on board making a departure from private airfield in the north of the country fell from the height of more than 300 meters in the woody district on Saturday night. After the falling of the plane caught fire.

One of the passengers was taken to hospital with burns.
