YEREVAN. – A police officer got a gunshot wound in fire from the area of seized police headquarters in Yerevan, spokesperson for Armenian police Ashot Aharonyan wrote on Facebook.

“Members of an armed group opened fire in different directions when a group of demonstrators tried to enter a security zone from Sari Tagh district and tried to break through the police cordon. Police representative was injured outside the seized police regiment, he was taken to hospital. Reports about injured are being clarified,” he said.
