YEREVAN. – Armenia’s National Security Service said 47 people were detained or arrested within criminal case of “Sasna Tsrer” armed group.

A criminal case was opened into the seizure of building and illegal possession and obtaining of weapons and ammunition, NSS said in a statement. Twenty-four people face charges.

The investigators of the National Security Service has submitted a written request to the General Prosecutor on the transfer of the criminal case to another body in accordance with the rules of Article 190 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
