Chinese Naval Forces began military exercises in East China Sea

Chinese Naval Forces began large-scale military exercises in the East China Sea, RIA Novosti reported quoting Defense Ministry of China.

At present, large-scale military maneuvers of operating military forces are carried out in the East China Sea in the area of 16,000 square kilometers.

A cruiser, a submarine, more than one hundred ships, several tens of warplanes, radars stationed on shore , are involved in the exercises. The exercises are targeted at practicing reconnaissance tasks, attacks on long distances, as well as the overall missile defense system in the conditions of electromagnetic interference.
