YEREVAN. – The wife of Jirair Sefilian, Nanor Sefilian, has published her husband’s letter addressed to Pavlik Manukyan, a member of “Sasna Tsrer” group that has been seizing police regiment for 14 days.

“Fortunately, on July 31 the guys made a right decision, thereby avoiding the bloodshed on both sides. Starting from 17 July, you did your best . You have proven that Armenians have never been and will not be a slave. You proved that Armenians are not afraid of death and prison,” says a letter published on Facebook.

Sefilian said he has contradictory feelings: the joy due to the fact that life of Aram, Manukyan’s son, is not in danger, and sorrow because of the serious injuries of Pavlik.

“You decided to give up food. Dear Pavlik, if you are still alive, God has willed it so. If you are alive, then you have something else to do for Armenia and your family. Therefore, as your brother, I ask you to stop the hunger strike and please recover quickly,” the letter says.
