The president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced that it is impossible to purchase a mandate in the Belarusian parliament. He stated that "no rich man can tuck his protégés by paying for them."

"Look what is happening in other countries. Sometimes they provoke a fight in the parliament, sometimes they break each other’s mugs, sometimes some politicization is taking places, sometimes some oligarchs create their own groups ... I declare with all responsibly that no rich man can tuck his MPs to the parliament ," reports the Belta  agency .

The elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly the lower house of the parliament ) are scheduled for September 11 and will be held on the majority system in 110 constituencies.  The registration of candidates is taking place now.
