Germany's foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that U.S. presidential candidate from Republicans Donald Trump is one of the world's “hate preachers”, New York Times reported.

Steinmeier emphasized that as many right-wing populists, Donald Trump also plays with people’s fear and they make their politics with fear. He also noted that  that promoters of Brexit are "the hate preachers, like Donald Trump at the moment in the U.S.."

Earlier, Steinmeier expressed concern over the nomination of Trump's candidacy for the U.S presidency, expressing the view that  his possible victory on elections will complicate the future of the transatlantic relations.
