Ukrainian General Prosecutor’s office summoned the President of Petro Poroshenko as a witness in the case of “crimes against participants of protest actions in Maidan” in January-February 2014, Ukrainian News reported.

The interrogation will take place in August, more concrete date is unknown.

Earlier, General Prosecutor’s office interrogated Ex-PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov.
