Kiev is ready to consider introduction of a visa regime with Russia, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated.

According to the FM, it is necessary to strictly control the entry to the territory of Russia in order to more effectively filter FSB agents and other Russian special services that work to destabilize the situation.

However, Klimkin added that Russia can use the initiative as a propaganda argument. He assumed that the cases where people of advanced age or children can't see their relatives will spin in media.

The minister added that Ukraine consular officials will need about 100 additional employees if visa regime is introduced.

On April 15 speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy supported the introduction of a visa regime with Russia. He said that this is the path that they should pass.
