Over 4,000 people took part in the annual march for marijuana legalization in downtown Berlin, RIA Novosti reports, citing DPA.
The march was held in the Germany capital for the 20th time. Its motto – “Legalization hangs in the air” – was written on banners, which the demonstrators held in their hands. They also carried banners reading “Say yes to hemp”, “Marijuana is my medicine” and “To smoke marijuana is to be free.”
The march for marijuana legalization has been held in Berlin since 1997.
