The agreement on Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) Customs Code is planned to be signed in December, press service of the State Customs Committee of Belarus informed on Friday.

“Governments of the EurAsEC-member states [including Armenia] are commissioned to ensure the national coordination of the draft EurAsEC Customs Code,” reads the respective statement.

It is stressed that the draft agreement is based entirely on e-document flow.

In addition, the institute of authorized economic operators is introduced in the draft document, as a separate chapter.

Also, powers of the Eurasian Economic Commission are substantially complemented, as compared to the existing Customs Union Code, and this will enable to ensure a flexible single customs regulation within the EurAsEC.
