12-hour negotiations that took place between the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the US Secretary of State John Kerry in Geneva are over, reports the RIA Novosti. "The talks in Geneva are over," wrote the official representative of the Russian  Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on her Facebook page.

A joint press conference is expected  afterwards.  As reported earlier, the main topic of negotiation was the Syrian issue, including prospects for coordination of the  US and Russian efforts in the fight against terrorist groups in Syria.
