Positive dynamics is observed in the condition of 2-year-old Hovhannes Manukyan, who fell down from the 4th floor balcony in the city of Gyumri on August 25. The baby can already open his eyes and breathe on his own, Surb Astavatsamayr Medical Center representatives told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

Although the baby can breathe on his own, he is still put on artificial respiration.

Nevertheless, the doctors said that it is still early to say that the child’s life is not endangered.

The baby has suffered brain injury, as well as skull and neck vertebra fracture.

Hovhannes was taken to the Austrian Hospital in Gyumri, 15 minutes after which he was rushed to Yerevan.

According to Armenian News - NEWS.am information, the baby had come out to the balcony with his mother.
