STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) President Bako Sahakyan on Friday sent a congratulatory address to President Yevgeny Shevchuk of the Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic, which is better known as Transnistria.

“On behalf of the people and authorities of the Artsakh Republic and myself personally, I convey my cordial congratulations to you and the entire fraternal people of Prindestrovie on the Day of the Republic.

“It is a holiday symbolizing the will of Pridnestrovian people, their brevity and heroism, readiness to build a democratic state, defend and develop the native country.

“In Artsakh, we are always glad to see the successes of the Pridnestroviаn Moldavian Republic.

“I sincerely wish you, respectful Mr. Shevchuk, and the entire people of the Pridnestroviаn Moldavian Republic, peace, prosperity and welfare, great new accomplishments and achievements,” the NKR President’s address runs.
