French MP: Karabakh independence is indisputable and irreversible

The independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh is indisputable and irreversible, the statement of the France-Karabakh Friendship Circle reads.

The Friendship Circle warmly welcomes the 25^th anniversary of the newly gained liberty of the Karabakh population, which took place on 2 September 1991 by the proclamation of the republic.

Despite the forced war after the Declaration of Independence, “an entire generation of Karabakh people grew up in the independent republic and cannot imagine even for a second a dependent position, in which the older generation lived,” the statement by the Circle President and French MP François Rochebloine says.

The attacks of the Baku regime, carried out in April 2016, indicate that the Azerbaijani threat for the peace and security in the region still maintains. The failure of this attempt, as well as the moderate military response from the Karabakh side show the maturity of the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities and their sense of responsibility, the statement reads.
