STEPANAKERT. – The European Free Alliance (EFA) European political party delegation’s current third visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) will create new opportunities for cooperation.

NKR National Assembly (NA) Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan on Friday stated the aforesaid as he received EFA Vice President Lorena López de Lacalle, and Director Günther Dauwen.

Ghoulyan highly appreciated EFA’s activities toward supporting Artsakh, the NKR NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. He also underscored the delegation’s visit to attend the celebrations devoted to the 25th anniversary of the proclamation of the Artsakh republic.

Dauwen, for his part, expressed willingness to continue, by way of EFA, to raise NKR awareness in the European community.

“The events taking place in Artsakh cannot be left out of the general processes taking place in Europe,” he stressed.

In the ensuing talk, the interlocutors discussed the avenues for exchange of knowhow between the NKR political arena and EFA, protection of Artsakh republic’s interests within European organizations, and expanding of cooperation.
