The meeting between Vladimir Putin and  Recep Tayyip Erdogan  is held in China. The presidents arrived to Changzhou to participate in the G20 summit.

During the meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Putin stated his plans to discuss about complete resumption of cooperation between Turkey and Russia. "Of course, there is a lot to do in order to restore a complete cooperation in all directions. We will talk about that today, " said Putin, according to the RIA Novosti.

He also stressed the importance of the normalization of Turkey’s domestic politics. "We are pleased that domestic politics in Turkey is getting normalized. Currently, Turkey is facing hard times, including serious terrorist crimes, "he said. Putin expressed confidence that the situation will be completely regulated and there will be further development of bilateral cooperation between two countries.

He expressed his gratitude for the restoring charter flights between the countries. He also said that he will discuss the development of cooperation in the energy sector.
