President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte promised to personally tear apart and eat Abu Sayyaf Islamic militants, whom the authorities blame for the recent terror attack in Davao city.

Duterte stated that the terror masterminds will “pay” for their crimes. “ When the time comes, I will eat you in front of people. If you make me mad, in all honesty, I will eat you alive, raw," Duterte noted, AFP reports.

14 people died and about 60 were injured as a result of the blast in Davao on September 2. Duterte called the blast a terror attack.
