Turkey should implement the migrant agreement with EU for the introduction of visa free regime for Turkish citizens, Bulgarian FM Daniel Mitov told Reuters.

In his words, the agreement between EU and Turkey should be implemented. “We want to stress that the [EU-Turkey] readmission agreement should be implemented before the visa regime liberalization,” Mitov said.

He urged to continue the dialogue with Turkey and reduce the tension caused by the side’s rhetoric. “We must talk to each other and not one against the other,” the Bulgarian FM said.
