Ministers of Defense of the US and Ukraine - Ashton Carter and Stepan Poltorak signed an agreement on cooperation between the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and the US Defense Department for a period of five years. Stepan Poltorak wrote in his Facebook page that it is the first time they signed a document on cooperation for such a long period.

As 112.ua reports, at the meeting Ashton Carter said the US position in regard to the aggression against Ukraine is the same . "The annexation of the Crimea will never be recognized; the hybrid war in Donbas against Ukraine will end with a humiliating defeat for Russia."
