YEREVAN. - The Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia Hovhannes Hovsepyan on Monday received the delegation led by the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Kazakhstan Finance Ministry, Daulet Yergozhin.

The sides discussed the perspectives for the cooperation, the SRC press-service informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

Thanks to the agreement signed in 2000, the fiscal authorities of both countries effectively exchange necessary information, while the agreement signed in 2012 allows to rule out double taxation.

“Our agencies will expand the exchange of information, automating the process in line with the international standards. This will allow the foreign economic entities to save time and expenses,” Hovsepyan noted.

“This year Kazakhstan plans to introduce an electronic audit system for large taxpayers. This will enable to reduce the time for checks and the expenses thereof.  I think we can cooperate here too,” Hovsepyan said.

“Together with our Armenian partners we are discussing the issue of opening transportation routes to Kazakhstan, since we have a great potential for Armenian goods, which can contribute not only to the improvement of mutual relations in the area of tax and customs services, but also to the development of both country’s economy,” Yergozhin said.
