The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC ) forecasts that in 2016 the demand for oil will make an average of 94.27 million barrels daily, reports the Gazeta.

According to the forecast , the demand will increase by 10 thousand barrels per day and will exceed the same indicator in 2015 - 1.23 million barrels daily . At the same time , the company forecasts a reduction of oil consumption in the OPEC member countries by 500 thousand barrels per day and notes that the index will decline up to 56.32 million barrels per day . According to the publication , the index in countries that are not OPEC members, the oil production in 2017 will grow by 200 thousand barrels per day and will make a total of 56.52 million barrels.
