The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the US Secretary of State John Kerry discussed the US-Russian agreement on strengthening cease-fire in Syria, reports the Russian Foreign Ministry's website .

"At the meeting of September 9 the parties discussed the ongoing process of the Russian-American agreement on the consolidation of the cease-fire in Syria , provision of humanitarian corridors, and joint fight against terrorism ," the statement reads .
