The US General Consul in Istanbul used the work of employees of the diplomatic mission for his personal purposes, reports the RIA Novosti, based on the report the US Department of State.
According to the report, this practice can be regarded as an abuse of governmental resources. In addition, as a result of inspections it turned out that the Chief Consul Charles Hunter has not had sufficient skills. Hunter headed the American Consulate in Istanbul from September 2013 to August 2016.
