Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will hold a meeting with the U.S. presidential candidate from Democratic Party Hillary Clinton during his visit to the U.S. on September 18, the president's press secretary, Svyatoslav Tsegolko said.
According to him, on September 18-21, the Ukrainian president will visit the United States, where he will address the UN General Assembly and the UN Security Council and will hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of key states. He is also scheduled to hold talks with both the presidential candidates in the United States. As of today, his meeting with Hillary Clinton has been confirmed, Interfax reported.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said that the meeting of Poroshenko and the U.S. Barack Obama will take place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
