Angela Merkel was unsatisfied with the results of her party at parliamentary elections of Berlin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel herself said on Monday commenting on results of elections to the Land Parliament in Berlin.

Christian Democratic Union (CDU) gained record-breaking low 17.6% and abandoned the coalition government, TASS reported.

According to her, the reason of it became migration policy. However, the chancellor is convinced that the problem is rather that the approach of the German government is poorly explained to the population.

She assured that she would work on it in further. At the same time, making the statement at a press conference, Merkel repeated the statement made last week that she would not like to use the expression "we can cope with it" any more in relation to the refugee crisis.
