Foreign Secretary of the UK Boris Johnson announced the launch of a campaign in order to bring the ISIS to justice, The Independent reported.

 “We have united to defeat Daesh, now we must unite to bring them to justice. That needs to include looking at ways for the UN to support the vital task of gathering evidence about their abhorrent crimes,” the minister said during the UN General Assembly meeting in New York on Monday.

He emphasized it is important for the campaign to be joined not only by states, but also non-governmental organizations, as well as those who suffered from cruelty violence of the group.

Johnson's initiative was also supported by the famous British lawyer and George Clooney’s wife Amal Clooney.
