The friendship ties between the Armenian and Abkhazian peoples will enable to surmount any difficulty, said  Irakli Tuzhba, “Modern Abkhazia” NGO President, speaking to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Tuzhba noted this reflecting on an Abkhaz high-level delegation’s recent visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh).

On September 2, the delegation participated in the events devoted to the NKR Independence Day anniversary. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan also attended the respective banquet, during which the visiting senior officials of Abkhazia had an informal conversation with him.

“This circumstance has caused a whirlwind of negative emotions in the souls of numerous senior Georgian politicians,” noted Tuzhba. “Such a reaction by Tbilisi was unexpected for the representatives of Armenia. But Abkhazia is long accustomed to such démarches by the Georgian authorities.

“[But] the processes of international cooperation are so large and multilateral that even the bravest attempts to hinder them are doomed to failure.”
